Hey, I’m Emma — the photographer behind Emas Perception.

Photography has always been something I’ve loved, but this year I officially took the leap and started pursuing it full time — and honestly, there’s nothing I’d rather be doing. Being able to capture genuine memories for people while also staying home and raising my boys is something I’ll never take for granted.

I’m a mama to two wonderful little boys, ages 4 and 1, and they are my entire world. I also have an amazing fiancé who has supported me every step of the way while building this dream.

What means the most to me about photography is preserving moments people can truly feel when they look back at them years from now — the laughs, the happy tears, the quiet in-between moments, and the memories you never want to forget.

A little about me personally — yes, I have tattoos and piercings, and I know I can look a little intimidating at first glance, but I promise I’m one of the most laid-back people you’ll meet. I’ll absolutely cry at your wedding, hype you up during your session, and probably crack a joke every five minutes just to make you laugh.

I was raised between Arkansas and Tennessee most of my life, so when you hear me talk, you’ll quickly realize I sound like the most cornbread-fed southern girl ever — and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love country music, but rock will always have a place in my playlists too.

More than anything, I want my clients to feel comfortable, relaxed, and fully themselves when they’re with me. The best photos happen when you’re genuinely enjoying the moment — and that’s exactly the kind of experience I strive to create.
